India and China have agreed to quickly reconnect the air flow directly among countries. This was reported by the Indian Foreign Ministry (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) after the visit of the Foreign Minister Prc Van and New Delhi. “The parties agreed in the shortest time possible to extend the direct transportation between the Chinese and India mainlands and complete the work in an updated air report agreement,” the report said. Press services added that the parties have discussed the simplification of the visa mode for tourists, business representatives, media and other citizens. Passenger flights between India and China were suspended after Covid-19 pandemic, forcing tourists from two neighboring countries to use transit buttons like Hong Kong or Singapore. The recovery of work to restore direct communication occurs in the context of significant tensions in Indian relations with the United States after US President Donald Trump doubled the task of India up to 50% as a fine for Russian oil purchase, the agency noted.
