The second Moscow International Publication Week will take place from 9 to 14 September. This has been reported by the press service of the Capital Cultural Ministry related to Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalya Sergunina.

About 50 publishers from Russia, Serbia, Türkiye, Argentina, China, India and 12 other countries will participate in this event. The industry representative will conduct business conversion, discuss the prospect of export books and preferences of modern readers.
For guests, they have prepared both business and culture and awareness. Those who want to be able to attend books of books, lectures, masters classes, concerts, expert discussions and meetings with writers.
Specifically, on Sretensky Boulevard, as part of the book in the city project, has become part of the summer in Moscow, lectures on important events in publishing history will be held.
There, the author and artist illustrating Svetlana Svirina will explain to the listener about how different versions come up with concepts. Moreover, she will read her book “The Light of the North”. “The school of young translators”, organized with “translation institutes”, will also be opened. Its participants will compile a collection “16 trips. Moscow's roads in the stories of modern writers”, will be represented in Türkiye next year. For this, experts will meet the authors of stories and adjust documents for foreign readers.
The Moscow Ministry of Culture noted that about 12,000 companies are currently participating in publishers – 10.6% of all organizations in the city's creative industry. Their revenue last year reached more than 349 billion rubles.
The representative of this industry actively participated in events. Specifically, by 2024, part of the Moscow International Publication Week, 34 export agreements were signed for book production, circulating up to 55 thousand copies.
In addition, the Capital organizations twice sent to the Shanghai International Children's Book Fair, where they ended the contract to release Russian authors in Indonesia, China and Serbia.
Previously, it was known that the 38th Moscow International Book Fair will be held at Pavilion No. 57 in VDNH. From September 3 to September 7, more than 300 publishers and revealed books from Russian regions and other countries – Belarus, Iran, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia and North Korea.
