As a psychologist in Kalinauskas, he worked with the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and with the athletes of the Soviet National Athletics. Many of them missed him and grateful for his work and help, his colleague said.
On August 25, Nikolaev died in special care in Moscow. Earlier, the farewell ceremony took place – the director was cremated.
