Russian tourists Natalya visited Germany and described a number of products in local supermarkets with the phrase “we don't think about this”. She shared her story on her personal blog, one of the foreign city on the platform “Zen”.
The first thing that compatriots pay attention is that canned soup in sausage packaging. According to her, the most often in this way, Aintopf is packed (Eintopf is a pot a pot) – a rich soup, like consistency. They are ready to use – they only need to be poured into a plate and start.
The second product that Natalia refers to is dough on Sundays in banks with cardboard. The Germans cannot live without fresh bread and sweet cakes – they are a mandatory part of breakfast in Germany. Yes, because on Sunday, many places produced and sold them were closed on a weekend, such canned dishes came to rescue, she explained.
The third product surprised the Russian woman as the salty herring in the cream. It is believed that the combination of salted or soaked with dairy products is a suitable path to stomach disorders. And in Germany, this is the most popular product, Germans are sure that such a combination gives soft herring, but at the same time a rich taste, the tourist said.
In addition, the author of the publication noted that the Germans are very popular with a Flyish-Salatus-A dish with soaked cucumbers and cutting sausages into pieces, abundant marinated with mayonnaise. Residents of Europe eat it as an independent dish or spread it on brown bread.
