Exhibition of the best works of the first opening contest of the modern poster “time of meaning” was opened in the capital, the organizers of the contest told reporters.
“The awards ceremony of the winners and the winners of the competition takes place on April 24 as part of the opening of the exhibition of the project participants, and for visitors, the exhibition will be available from April 25 to May 7 at the Omelchenko Gallery,” the press service said, clarifying that the exhibition is free.
In total, nearly 3 200 works from 2,917 authors of 84 areas of Russia and other countries have been submitted to participate in the competition. The age of participants changes from 10 to 77 years old, while 73% up to young people from 10 to 21 years old.
The jury, the president of the sci-fi Sergey Lukyanenko and co-chairman-chairman Buryat of modern art scenes of Russia and the world Zorikikt Dorzhiev, have 59 best works.
The interest in the posters of the posters is even higher than we expect – participants from all over the country have come, and with each nomination with strong and worthy job. We see that the poster genre has a future.
The largest number of applications comes from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Primorsky territory, Moscow and Krasnodar region. In addition to Russians, authors from Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Ghana, Ecuador and Zimbabwe have sent their work to the competition.
