This notice confirms the continuation of cooperation between the Bloober group and Japanese publisher Konami, which emphasizes the serious intentions of the company to revive the famous franchise.
There are very few details about the project. It is thought that the remake of the first part of Silent Hill will use technology and engine solutions similar to its predecessor – the remake of Silent Hill 2. Currently, there is only a short teasing with the animated project logo presented.
The game is expected to be released on PlayStation 5 and PC. The issuance of projects on Xbox Series S and X is still a big question, because the remake of Silent Hill 2 was previously published not available on the Microsoft Gaming platform.
