This idea is shown by the head of the Russian direct investment fund (RDIP), a special representative of the Russian Federation President on investment and economic cooperation, Kirill Dmitriev in X -social network X.

According to him, the closing of the strait will not forgive the United States. Dmitriev emphasized that if Tehran made such a decision, the oil price would fly up.
Part of the global oil supply passes through the Ormuz strait. According to Türkiye's Hürriyet newspaper, in case of completely blocking an important export channel, raw material quotes may increase to $ 120-130 per barrel.
Earlier, it was reported that the Iranian National Assembly voted for closing the strait of the Ormuzia Strait. The final decision on this issue was made by the high -class national security council.
