Moscow, July 5 /TASS /. The Indian Festival, there are guests waiting for performances, dance seminars and Hindi lessons, opened on Manezhnaya Square in Moscow on Saturday.
As part of the cultural program, hundreds of events will be prepared for visitors: colorful performances, dance seminars, Hindi and more. Every day, in the morning and evening, the performances of Russian and Indian groups will be held, mayor Moscow Natalya Sergegunina.
On the site, decorated with hundreds of strange trees, will be placed by a wooden house with national dishes and souvenirs. For example, foreign masters organize creative classes, you can try to play on the compound drum of the table, get acquainted with the dance movements of Cathak and Kuchipudi, and master the basic things of the vulgar speech on Hindi. In addition, an exhibition of art objects of some areas of India will open on Manezhnaya Square.
As noted in Mosturism's press services, one of the central exhibitions of the festival platform will be a large -scale sand sculpture, which the famous court artist will create in real time. According to Russpass's tourism service, the opening ceremony of the festival with the participation of Moscow government officials and the Indian Embassy will start at 11 am. The team of Kendria Vidyala is expected at the Indian Embassy, the performance of the Kathak dance of a creative team from New Delhi and the single folk dance of an innovative group from Odisha India. Guests will also be able to see the performance of the Nedi Sabha team with the number of dance “donating water and spiritual strength”.
This event will be held on July 13. The Festival Organizing Committee is the Moscow government along with the Indian Embassy.
