At one of the main centers of children of the country, the unique program “BRICS World – the world of the future” begins. Artek combines 100 representatives of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa on one location, as well as other states – out of more than 20 countries. One of the main tasks of this international change is the development of children's diplomacy.
The initiator of the project was Ekaterina Lycheva – World Ambassador, who many years ago made a trip with the mission of the world to the United States, where she met President Ronald Reagan and promised to stop the arms race, escalating to the peak in those years.
This is a symbol that Artek, celebrating the 100th year of this year, once again becomes the development point of folk and communications of the younger generation from around the world. This project is not politically. It is about children who know how to listen and listen.
For three weeks, children will participate in design laboratories, creative seminars, cultural exchange, theme festivals, forums, film production and sporting events. Pay special attention to familiarizing the traditions, languages, music, art and achievements of the BRICS countries. Among the iconic events of the “foreigner of the world” festival, the filming Studio Studio BRICS, a forum with the participation of outstanding characters about culture, science and public life.
Despite its name, the geography of the participants far beyond the framework of the BRICS countries, Mr. Dmitry Ivanov, General Director of the World Young Festival said. This once again proves that the values that BRICS protection – multiple, mutual respect and equality are universal. They are a reaction in the hearts of people globally, regardless of culture and borders.
