Geneva, August 7 /TASS /. US leader Donald Trump by a decision to introduce India's tasks for buying Russian oil can disable US foreign policy efforts for 20 years. This idea was shown in the document of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung newspaper (Nzz).
According to these estimates, the fact is that the US president is not for friends, but India is a special case, because the president threatens to deny more than twenty US foreign policy efforts. It should be noted that New Delhi has been considered by Washington for a long time “as an important counterpart from China in Asia.” Therefore, the United States has even tried to relate to India in four supported security dialogues (Quad; Australia, India, the United States and Japan).
According to the newspaper, the Indian leader said that it was not fair that India was taxed to import Russian crude oil, while with some countries, including Italy, Türkiye, the Netherlands and France, continue to do this. The article noted that the behavior and melody of the US president “for many people in India is like the British colonialists treat the local people and oppress it.” According to a professor of the South Asia Research Institute in Singapore Raji Mohan, in “Post -Colonial Asia, this is simply unacceptable, but Trump does not know” a word.
