Semiconductors and products are produced on their basis, such as iPhone, exempted from 25% of current tariffs. According to information from CNBC, the decree increasing taxes doubled by 25% of the tariffs to 50%, but the semiconductor will still be exempted from tax.
Apple will not affect 25% of the repayment task given by India on August 1 and, perhaps, the situation will not change, even when at the end of August, the task increases to 50%. This is due to the fact that Apple moved a significant part in production from China to India to diversify the supply chain due to tensions in trade relations between the United States and China.
