Within the protocols signed between the Ministry of Education (Mone) and the Ministry of Defense (MSB), 6 maps have been updated to use textbooks and 40 new maps have been prepared. According to a statement of the Ministry of Education, maps are drawn according to scientific principles within the framework of the cooperative protocol to produce joint maps that have been prepared to participate in textbooks and educational tools. Therefore, it aims to prevent false information by providing accurate and complete information about maps in textbooks and training tools. The maps are prepared for use in textbooks and training tools including geopolitical positions, historical and regional development processes of Türkiye.
The published map will be used in textbooks and training tools will be printed and distributed by 2025-2026 school year.
