“Family education service guidance”, preparing for those who cannot continue the official educational institutions due to their health status, have been announced.
It aims to ensure the continuity of pedagogical development, awareness and social development of students with home education services planned according to their needs and have a special educational service and to minimize learning losses. In this context, “Family education service guidance” is announced in this context, the person who can benefit from the home education service, the application conditions, the necessary documents and the operation of the application process, how to adjust the curriculum by calculating personal differences and the process of assigning teachers is explained in detail. In addition, the basic principles related to the educational planning in the environment where students are placed, the preparation of teaching materials, monitoring the process and measurement and evaluation practice is included in the guidance.According to the instructions including procedures and principles related to planning and performing home education services, all students need special education in mandatory education age that can benefit from home educational services. Students need special education at the age of mandatory education that can be applied to the General Department or the Center for Research and Instruction of the University (RAM), where they are registered in case they cannot benefit from official educational institutions for at least twelve weeks due to their health issues or will cause risks to their health. The instruction is a reference for teachers, school administrators, guiding and research centers (RAM), families and other stakeholders to be included in the family education process. Instructions, prepared in accordance with educational policies including the Ministry, aiming to support the equality of the opportunity in access to education of individuals that need special education and to ensure that applications in this field have a comprehensive structure.
