The total number of PS5 shipments in the first month reached 3.4 million units. The first version of Nintendo Switch was published in 2017 and started with a result of 2.7 million gaming devices per month.
Experts note that Switch 2 is largely facilitated when launching synchronously in all main markets and supply chains set. Unlike Sony, during the pandemic period had to run PS5 in the stages and faced the shortage, Nintendo tried to ensure the high level of equipment in retail from the first day.
