ARM and EPIC games have announced the introduction of ASR technology (super precision resolution) in the mobile version of Fortnite.
Although ASR does not improve direct visual quality, it increases productivity without remarkable losses in graphics, it is especially important for smartphones.
ASR is currently available in the form of Unreal Engine plugin and can be used by any developer. This opens a way to improve graphics in mobile games without increasing the load on iron.
