Early access allows developers to publish preliminary versions of their games, introduce fans to them and collect money to produce. According to the editor of the publication, Keil Hunt, quite often the game studio sells the first versions of the games, but does not bring the product to the final state and eventually throw it.
Hunt said that Acc Access Access appeared on Steam in 2013. Currently, 14,056 games have the same state. The journalist noted that many gamers – almost all friends and acquaintances – have had not completed games, and then lost money. In this regard, he warned that the player did not buy games from small studios.
I do not have all the blame on the Steam and Valve of his parent company, but I have the right to criticize them, the author noted.
At the same time, Keil Hunt emphasized that developers who have conscience do not give up their fans: for them, Early Access Access is still a very good opportunity to collect sponsorship, receive assessment and share the first versions of the games.
