NVIDIA and MediaTek are preparing to release AI-chips N1 and N1X together, which will appear on the market in 2026.

The new processor is expected to be officially presented at the Computex 2025 exhibition and their mass supplies will start in the next half of the year.
Chips N1 and N1X will use ARM architecture and focus on Windows devices, including laptops and desktops. According to Digitimes, processors will be released under the NVIDIA brand, although closely cooperated with MediaTek.
However, despite the active increase in production, analysts note that large sources may be delayed due to difficulties in integrating the final equipment.
Assuming that the N1X model will target the high-end segment, providing performance at 180-200 AI, this will make them compete for high-performance chips from Apple and Qualcomm.
At the same time, initial tests show that the N1X performance is still behind some modern ARM processors. This has managed to cause interest between experts.
It is expected that the chips will be used in products of brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, MSI and Compal. There is also information accordingly in the development process, there is a powerful GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra server processor with 748 GB memory and up to 20,000 tops, will be compatible with both Windows and MacOS.
