Taiwan MSI has introduced the current version of Star Shadow 15 gaming laptop, estimated in the Chinese market at 7999 Yuan (about 88 thousand rubles). This has been reported by the Ithome portal.
The novelty is equipped with Intel Core i9-14900HX 24-core processor for 32 threads and discrete graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 at 115 watts. The cooling system consists of two fans and five thermal pipes, which need to ensure a stable operation at a high load. Basic configuration provides 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and SSD for 1 TB.
The laptop receives a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, the extension frequency is 165 Hz and the coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Among other things, the presence of the MSI Dragon Shield logo has a brand, keyboard with four-zone RGB-backlucent keys and dim keys, showing the orientation of playing laptop gaming.
MSI Star Shadow 15 offers a range of interfaces, including two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, RJ45, headphone jet and USB-A 3.2 gen 2 on the right. Among other things, there is support for 6E Wi-Fi, fast charging according to PD 3.0 protocol with a capacity of up to 100 W and the battery capacity is 75 W*h.
