The Ars Technica portal has conducted a comparison of Steamos and Windows 11 on Lenovo Legion Go S. mobile dashboard.
Five games have participated in tests: Back, Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Homework 3 and Doom: The Dark Ages. Microsoft's operating system has been tested with both Lenovo drivers and Asus packages.
Games are launched in two modes: with high graphics settings with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 and low – at 1200 × 800.

The result turned out to be surprising: Steamos is almost everywhere before Windows 11. Even when using the Asus drivers is more optimized, the Microsoft system is still less than 4 matches 36% in most titles.
The only exception is Borderlands 3, which works well on both platforms. Experts note that Linux Steamos is becoming an increasingly mature Windows in the field of mobile gaming – both in performance and stability.
