At one of the Grand Auto Vi screenshots published in early May, Rockstar Games Studio, fans attracted attention to the character, in their opinion, looks like a child. It was taken at the table of a street cafe and notably below two other NPCs nearby.
Up to now, in GTA Series games, children are an absent NPC. One exception is the appearance of a baby in GTA: Vice City Stories, but only in Kat scenes. According to analysts, such a decision is related to the desire to avoid ethical, ethical and legal risks related to the possibility of harmful to supporting characters. Children's presence can also lead to tightening of age ranking, which will limit the project's insurance scope.
However, the experience of Rockstar Games in creating other games shows that the studio is not afraid to add children to their games: In Red Dead Redemption 2, published in 2018, children are present, but the interaction with them is strictly limited – players cannot harm them. In another game, bullying, action takes place in a school where key characters are teenagers.
