By introducing Switch 2, Nintendo immediately announced that the selected games (both new and old) will receive a specific publication for the platform – the Switch 2 version is set. One of the first games that will receive such support will be Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends Za, however, there are also many games that have been proven in the list of projects.
Therefore, Breath of the Wild and tears of the kingdom, owning the copies of the game for the original swtich, will receive an update to convert two versions – provided that they are signed by Nintendo Switch Online + Pack. Others will not require registration, but it seems that everything will depend on specific games.
