CD Studio CD Projekt Red will release the update for the control version of Witcher Witcher 3: Wild Hunting, with the support for the modifications. This is stated in the company's quarterly financial statements.

According to developers on the 38th page of the document, the game version of the game will receive integration with the Mod.io platform – a popular service to distribute fan mods. This will be the first case when an official amendment support will be officially available on the control panel as part of the Witcher franchise.
The reason for this initiative is the 10th anniversary of the game, taking place on May 19. The document says to honor the event, developers plan to launch a series of stocks, cooperation and surprises for players. Among them is the update mentioned with the control panel support for the mods, which will be released before the end of 2025.
It is noteworthy that the application was found by network users – the developers in their social networks did not announce this. At the same time, in the CD Projekt report, the publisher has appeared in the past, may indicate the publishing of information early or canceling or transferring the project. CD Projekt has not commented on supporting mods on the control panel.
In 2023, the studio released the official Redkit tools, focusing on the development of modifications, but only for the PC version of the game.
On the afternoon of May 30, developers officially announced the support of Mods on their website.
Earlier, Atomic Heart developers announced a new achievement of their game and started the independent studio support program.
