The Khamovnican Court of Moscow sentenced the generals of the Ministry of Home Affairs Serge Umnov, Alexei Semenov and Ivan Abakumov in the event of a bribe through the General Department of Home Affairs. It reports about it Tass.

Lieutenant General Umnov received 12 years at a maximum security colony with a fine of 35 million rubles, a former deputy director of the Minister of Home Affairs in St. Abakumova and Semenov were deprived of the title of Major General.
In this case, the Court was also sentenced to 10 years in prison, the former legal head of the Elena Kopyeva Traffic Police Department.
According to investigators, convicted people have received 11 bribes from Ngo Ngo funds for assistance from GuVD programs. Their total money is up to 65 million rubles. Previously, the defendants spent this money on the purchase of registration for gyms and cars, repairing establishments in building a headquarters in Suvorovsky Prostekt and concerts to commemorate the Ministry.
