UFA, February 16./ TASS /. The UNESCO Faculty, where they will prepare international experts in Geopars, will open in the near future at UFA University of Science and Technology (Uunit). This was declared by the head of the Republic of Bashkortan Radiy Khabirov.

According to him, this department will be a common Uunit project and Geopark Yangan-Tau, by 2020, it was the first to join the Geopers UNESCO global network in the post-Soviet space. Khabirov noted that in this few years, scientists and experts have accumulated a unique experience being required around the world. The ministry's opening application is supported by leading related organizations from 12 countries. Among them – China, Vietnam, Uruguay, South Africa, Gana, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan.
Geological, biological, historical, linguistic and environmental experts from different countries will work with teachers in Uunit. We plan that, in addition to training, the department will participate in research in the field of maintaining geological and biological diversity, sustainable tourism and preserving national identity, Mr. Khabirov added.
