Moscow, February 4. /TASS /. The appointment of a Ghana representative by the new special representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Libya may increase the level of reliability in finding a mutual settlement. This was raised by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the Middle East XIV Conference of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, in Libya, the West and the East, “they cannot reach a single form on how to further develop the political process, and the special representative of the UN Secretary General does not act very transparent” and is completely ineffective.
“Now there will be a new special representative – the representative of Ghana. I hope that after all, the appointment of African intermediaries will create more trust, ”Lavrov emphasized.
