In Russia, another Joseph Stalin monument may appear. This has been reported by Cherinfo.

The Communist Party of the Communist Party in Cherepovets made an initiative to maintain Stalin and send an official call to the Governor of Vologda Oblast Georgy Filimonov with the proposal to set up a monument for the Soviet leader in the central area in the victory park.
A member of the Igor Yarovo Cherepovets branch said that the Party members considered the installation of a monument of ethical missions for history. The Party also said that the installation of the monument will be a reaction for those who “do not understand the changes that take place in the state and the world.”
In December 2024, Stalin's monument was opened in the regional center – Vologda. It was installed at the building of Vologda Link – in this house, Joseph Dzhugashvili spent a few months. Those who initiated the Vologda project of the monument are also local communists.
This document itself is still considered by Cherepovets in the White House. The decisions on the construction of sculptures have not been made.
In early July, the court ordered the Stalin monument in Vologda and returned the budget for 10.5 million rubles.
