In the Samara area, a record high air pollution by 2024 has been recorded. This is stated in research on the audit network and “Finexpertia” advice based on Roshydromet data.
Typically, high air pollution takes place in the Samara area, Krasnoyarsk territory, Transbaikalia, Buryatia and the Orenburg area, Mr. Tass Tass wrote, referring to the research.
The Samara region has become a leader of the high number of air pollution – 90 cases recorded here. In the second place is the territory of Krasnoyarsk (54 incidents), followed by the territory of Trans -Baikal (21), Buryatia (15) and Orenburg region (14).
In 2024, Russia recorded a significant increase in cases of air pollution in the atmosphere and extremely high. According to Roshydromet, such a number of incidents increased by 36% compared to last year and reached 239 cases. This is the maximum value in the past three years, despite the fact that by 2022202023, there was a decline in such incidents.
The main substances that contribute to air pollution are hydrogen sulfide, benzpiren and sulfur dioxide. Extremely high level of hydrogen sulfide, marked mainly in Samara, causing specific alarms.
