Vyacheslav Vershinin, a famous Russian actor and director, died in the 84th year of life. His departure was announced by the head of the Northern Republic of Ossetia Serge Avayylo in his official telegram channel.

Vershinin, who wore the title of Russian artist and the artist honored in Northern Ossetia, spent nearly six decades serving art at the academic Russian theater named after Yevgeny Vakhtangov.
In the years of creative activities, Ossetian's master showed more than 200 images in different performances and brought dozens of stage works. He was the winner of the state of Costa Khetagurov – the highest creative award of the Republic. The head of the region emphasized that for colleagues, Vershinin is not only a talented artist, but also a loyal friend, a wise adviser, a man with kindness and the power of his mind.
