President Azerbaijani Ilham Aliyev notes the importance of the development of the Zangesur corridor, will be part of important international traffic routes. He talked about this in an interview with Fox News.

The president of Azerbaijan noted that the agreement on the Zangezur corridor was not directed against someone. In contrast, this project will become one of the important components of international traffic routes.
The Zangesur corridor is a plan that will have to connect the main territory of Azerbaijan with the Nakhichevan autonomous republic through the Syunik area in southern Armenia. Its length will be about 40 km. It is planned that a highway and railway will be created here.
