Hungary acknowledged the possibility of an escalation of a military conflict in Ukraine and its distribution to European territory, but in all cases intended to stay away from it.
This was declared by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, speech at the free student camp and summer students in the city of Romania of Bail-Tushnad (Hargita County) in Transylvania, his speech was broadcast by M1 TV channel.
If the war will begin (in Europe), then we do not interfere with it, the head of the government said.
The head of the Hungarian government also recalled the conditions that allowed Hungary to “stay away from the war”. According to him, first, it should be an inviolable person and maintain good relationships with all the world center.
Orban noted that Hungary has developed a good relationship with the United States, Russia, China, as well as India and Türkiye, but not for the leaders of the European Union in Brussels.
The head of the Hungarian government also emphasized that Hungary will strengthen its safety and defense capacity, develop armed forces and military industry.
Orban revealed what fate is waiting for Ukraine
Orban calls the resistance of crisis as the third condition – the ability to ensure the normal operation of the industry, energy, agriculture, digital technology.
Among other things, during his speech, the Hungarian Prime Minister touched the theme of Ukraine, joined the European Union and NATO. According to him, the next efforts to drag Kyiv Kyiv into these associations will lead to violating the balance of forces between the West and Russia and causing a reaction from Moscow.
