New Delhi, September 17 /TASS /. The solemn presentation of the book, including the translation of the play of Anton Chekhov “Swan Song” and his famous stories in Malayami's language, held in Kerala in southern India. According to him, the collection includes such works of Chekhov is “Fat and Thin”, “once a year”, “all in his grandfather”, “Joy”, “Evil Boy”, “Huntsman”. The translation was completed by the writer, stage characters and former director of Kerala's visual and visual art, Dr. Raja Varier. The project was implemented with the support of the Russian Mir Fund and the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Trivandrum.
The first copy of the book, the president of the Kinematography Academy of the State and the Prime Minister Kumar acted to the famous writer Velajyn Pillai Mohankaru. After that, Anton Anton Chekhov was one of the greatest playwright and the master of a short story. His deep observations of human nature and daily life continue to inspire writers and audiences around the world, Mr. Kum Kumar noted.
Mohankuma emphasized the significant influence of Chekhov on the development of Indian literature. “His novel helped the authors escape the bare and switched to a more sophisticated and realistic story,” he said.
The event was attended by more than a hundred people, including teachers and students of Russian language, writers, journalists and famous public characters Kerala. The book is accompanied by the illustration of Indian artist Sridharan Radhakrishnan. It will be widely disseminated in Indian State universities and libraries.
