India became the leader in providing diesel fuel for Ukraine in July. This has been reported by the Ukraine's “Nefernok” portal. The publications note that the daily average import volume of Indian diesel fuel in July reaches about 2.7 thousand tons. These are 15.5% of the total monthly consumption, as well as the largest of all suppliers. The information portal claims that fuel from India came to Ukraine through Romania with a supply of oil ships for Danube. Overall, in the first seven months of 2025, the ratio of Indian diesel engine in the supply structure reached 10.2%, five times higher than last year (1.9%). On August 14, an expert at the Financial University of the Russian Government, Igor Yushkov, saying that although positive and endless eloquence words for sanctions on Russia's energy, Ukraine still seriously dependent on Russian gas.
