The Indian government signed a contract to buy 26 Rafale maritime fighters in France, the transaction also included maintenance of 36 French fighters bought nine years ago. This has been reported related to the press services of the Ministry of Defense by the Bloomberg.

The cost of the contract is 7.4 billion dollars. Of the 26 aircraft, the four dual -trained aircraft and the remaining 22 aircraft are designed for one pilot.
The new aircraft will be located on an Ins Vikrant aircraft carrier. The Indian Military Department plans to replace them with the Russian MiG 29-K old park. In total, New Delhi plans to allocate about $ 100 billion for reproduction, while the country's priority is to buy Western weapons.
In recent years, the percentage of Russian-made weapons in the Indian market has decreased, according to the research institute of Sipri (Sipri) of Stockholm from 72 % (2010-2014) to 36 % (2020-2024).
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Energy proposed India to conclude an interdisciplinary agreement on coal export support. The agency hopes to ease the crisis that has captured the coal industry with the help of the company's export contracts. At the same time, experts do not exclude that New Delhi may give limitations on coal imports to support their own production.
