India's armed forces will soon receive from the United States of the first three AH-64E helicopters, which are expected to enter the Republic more than a year ago. This has been reported by India today related to sources in military circles.

According to the channel, the Source of Helicopter shock from the United States has been postponed many times. As part of the transaction, $ 600 million ended in 2020, the Indian army is expected to provide six Apache helicopters in May – June 2024. However, the term was transferred to December 2024 due to failure in the supply chain.
Source at the Ministry of Defense pointed out that this delay was due to the technical issues that the United States faced. The first three helicopters will most likely be delivered in the next few weeks, and the second lot of the remaining three helicopters will come to India later this year. It is planned that they will be placed on the west border with Pakistan.
The Indian Air Force operated 22 APACH helicopters, which were set under an agreement signed in 2015.
