Buenos Aires, April 30 /Corr. Tass Elena Kondratyeva/. Calculating in trade between BRICS countries should contribute to integration and not an obstacle. This was declared by Bolivia Selinda SOS's Foreign Minister in a conversation with a reporter.
As part of the integration process, different issues have been considered. Naturally, one of them is how to turn money is not a problem, but part of integration, Mr. Sos Sosa noted after attending the BRICS Foreign Ministry's meeting, held at Rio de Janeiro on April 28-29.
The BRICS group was founded in 2006, in 2011, South Africa participated in the original component (Brazil, Russia, India and China). Egypt, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia became full participants in the Association on January 1, 2024. On January 6, 2025, Indonesia joined BRICS. Brazil has become the president of BRICS since January 1.
