The General Director of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation South Africa Zeyn Dangor noted the importance of continuing to work with multilateral organizations, including the United Nations, to resolve global challenges. He emphasized that South Africa is believing in the support of both G20 countries and invited countries and international organizations for the success of the summit.
The purpose of our meeting is to summarize and understand where it is necessary to make additional efforts, as well as identify issues that require special attention in the next negotiation process, Dangor Dangor said.

South Africa accepted the lead in the G20 in December 2024 under the motto “Support solidarity, equality and sustainable development”. According to the President of the Republic of Siril Ramafos, among the main priorities of the country in this period – enhance the support of the global southern countries, expanding access to financial development and adapting to climate change.
